Garlean Conscript: Vary'a was torn from his tribe early on in his life and forced to serve as a conscript for the Garlean Empire. After many years of service he made his escape to Eorzea where he began life anew, shedding any former ties he may have had.

Magitek Engineer: His years of military service earned him a position as a magitek engineer among Garlean troops, servicing, constructing, and maintaining gear for the empire. These days it has left him with a knack for operating and repairing magitek.

Criminal Activities: Life after the journey to Eorzea was not especially kind to him, as those who knew of his former ties were quick to ostracize him, leading him down a dangerous path. His preferred crimes involved battlefield salvaging and smuggling illicit goods across the border during the war for Ala Mhigan independence. Though he has left that life behind, there are those who he may have dealt with before, or those who still desire his services or wares..

Adventurer/Mercenary: Having found a moment of peace in his life, and a run in with Eorzean peacekeepers has led him to turn a new page in his life. He has struck out on his own as an adventurer, bounty hunter, or otherwise as a sellsword seeking legal coin where it might bring him. Scrupulous with what jobs he takes, he ensures he can provide the services he offers, and performs to the best of his ability.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to look through my carrd. I've been roleplaying on and off for the past several years have started to pick back up again in game. Var has had quite some time in game to develop and I'd like to continue developing him over the course of roleplay, meeting and connecting with others.

I am okay with walk-ups or tells, though tells are preferred. Communication is important to me and I'm more than happy to discuss a scene prior to it occurring. I am open to short-term and long-term roleplay as well.

I ask that we discuss any controversial scenes beforehand, again as part of communication. This includes violent, mature, or dark themes. I am not interested in ERP.
